Made on the cusp of the New Year, referring to Janus from Roman mythology. Being the god of doors, gates, and transitions, Janus represented life and death, beginning and end, youth and adulthood, rural and urban, war and peace, barbarism and civilization. Graham and wife, Corri were the models for this piece.
