A special time for our family having both Rachel & Emily's birthday on the same day (23rd although ten years apart!) and also our wedding anniversary (17th) before the happy event. When all the children were small we would have a party for the girls and the little decorated tree (which Graham & co. had dug up themselves) we would stand in the showroom for visitors to enjoy. With the varied children's subject matter we always hoped parents would bring their little ones to enjoy the room especially as many of the pieces take candles to illuminate them. We also attend the village Candlelit service, which forms a memorable part of the holiday. These are some of the inspirations for different pieces. |

Three Santa's with different aspects. The Victorian Santa with the two children (Emily & Sam) was actually made for a gallery window Christmas display, however the owner decided modern Bronzes would be a better commercial theme for that Christmas - their loss, our gain. The one to the left is based on a dear friend Jenkins Lowery (although he is not bald); his love of children is picked up on here.
